America becomes the first nation to answer the call and the first nation ready to be represented at World Standings! One of the signature features of World Standings is the ability for gamers to not only attempt to smash the current records on indie games set for Regulation WSTR Play, but gamers also have a chance to raise the flag of their host nation. Host nations will be added as players best the current high scores (watch for upcoming details!).

The best players from around the globe will have a chance to support the USA in their game scoring attempt or to raise the flag of other nations. The battle to be the best will soon be in your hands!

The Getzaks Join World Standings

The Otaku Underground’s favorite sons, Yak and Getzaks are now the unofficial World Standings Ambassadors of Gaming! Yak and the Getzaks is a four panel web manga that follows a group of otaku that are masters of all forms of geekery (including video gaming).
Yak is produced when Yak feels it is ready to be produced and has no set schedule but you will be able see all new episodes as they air in the Extended Play Section of the World Standings Front Page! Additionally, Yak and the Getzaks will pop in from time to time with exclusives for World Standings!

The first leaderboard of indie video-gaming roars to life! World Standings (worldstandings.net) is the the premier destination for competitive gamers.
Backed by the Order of Historians, the World Standings scoreboard gives gaming champions the chance to submit record breaking attempts on indie games and to represent their home nation or regions from across the globe.

Over the coming weeks the battle to be the best will start in North America and spread around the globe. Watch for new games to be added to the scoreboard and for the announcement of bounties: rewards for bringing down the top scores on the leaderboard.
